Geared for a Better Future

On June 3, 2023, the third “Enterprise Alliance - Navigation Cup” Dragon-Boat Race hosted by the Nanjing Entrepreneurs Association was held at Xuanwu Lake. 16 companies participated in an event that was filled with passion. NGC’s 20-member dragon-boat team was part of the competition.

(Training)

The team underwent more than 30 tough training sessions over a period of over a month. All members were fearless of pain and hardship during training and grew into a well-honed unit. They remained high-spirited and united, displaying a spirit of struggle and collaboration.

(The Race)

The atmosphere of the race was one of great excitement, as the Party branch secretary of each company, leaders of trade unions and young members arrived at the venue to cheer on the NGC team and witness a wonderful race. Encouraged by the shouts of their supporters, the NGC team spared no efforts in their quest to win the race. The boat cleaved through the waves like an arrow, with colorful flags flying to the deafening drumbeats. After a fierce competition, the NGC team finally took victory in the 300-meter straight-track race. They displayed their unity and their unyielding spirit through their youth, struggle and exertion.
